1. I plan on carving out all the little characters to make the illusion of depth.
2. Starting the carving was hard because I couldn't transfer the drawing I made onto the clay, so I had to carve it in myself 3. I think the characters actually came out really cute 4. I made a slab and folded it around a mold to make it a tub, let it dry to leather hard, then I carved the characters into it. 1. It shows my current home. Its important to me because its the first house my family has owned since 2009
2. trying to get the angling of the stairs was very difficult but I think I did a good job 3. The effect I made on the sky feels like its actually a cloudy blue sky, its my favorite 4. I took a reference picture, made a sketch to plan it out, messed up way too much on the stairs, added details around the lay outs, outlined my marks in pen then final I added the paint. 1. I chose Pencil and paper because I thought it was the best medium for me to express the full emotion of happiness on all the different faces.
2. I added very happy human faces with trees in the forest 3. I started off with a simple sketch on the paper to plan out how the faces were going to be and how I should arrange them, the I started to add more details throughout the piece until I was happy with the faces, then I added value in certain areas to improve the dimensions of the piece. |
